In A.3 Aprofitament Assessorament Ambiental S.L. We are a company authorized by the Generalitat de Catalunya and we have authorizations for the storage and recovery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. In addition, we are committed to caring for the environment and the search for innovations within the waste recovery sector. Below, you will find a list of all those hazardous and non-hazardous waste that A.3 Aprofitament Assessorament Ambiental S.L. is authorized to manage, value and/or transfer.
Description of processes and facilities
The activity carried out in A3, Aprovechamiento y Asesoramiento Ambiental, SL consists of storage and recovery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The activity carries out the following non-hazardous waste operations:

- Classification, crushing and pressing of scrap waste and components (operations R1201, R1203).
- Stripping of the cable and separation of the plastic from the metal part (operations R1203).
- Oil filter pressing (operations R1203).
- Recovery of catalysts through classification, disassembly, crushing of the ceramic fraction and physical-chemical treatment to recover the precious metal (operations R1203, R0402).
- Classification and disassembly of waste electrical and electronic equipment (operations R1201, R1202).
- Valorization of X-rays, photographic films, photographic products and baths rich in precious metals by grinding, physical-chemical treatment and/or electrolysis to recover the precious metal (operations R1203, R0402).
- Washing of dangerous and non-hazardous containers and shredding of those that cannot be recovered (operation R1203).
- Classification, cable cutting and separation of plates and terminals of dangerous batteries and accumulators (operation R1201, R1203).
- Shredding and separation of fractions of alkaline battery waste, Ni-Cd, Ni/Mh and Liti-Ion accumulator waste (operations R1203).
- Disassembly (casing, wiring…) of batteries and accumulators and preparation for reuse of the disassembly modules through evaluation and testing; the modules that cannot be prepared for reuse will be incorporated into the recovery lines by grinding (operations R1203, R0404).
- Storage and transfer of hazardous and non-hazardous waste (operations R1301 and D1501).
In accordance with the codification of annex II and III of Law 7/2022, of April 8, on waste and contaminated soils for a circular economy, the indicated operations correspond to:
Dangerous residues:

- R0402: Recovery of metals from waste containing metals.
- R1202: Disassembly and separation of the different components of the waste, including the removal of dangerous substances.
- R1203: Mechanical treatment (crushing, fragmentation, cutting, compaction, etc.).
- R1301: Waste storage, in the collection area.
- D1501: Waste storage, in the collection area.
Non-hazardous waste:

- R0404: Preparation for the reuse of waste metals and metal compounds.
- R1201: Waste classification.
In addition, it is also reported that the activity does not carry out any type of WEEE treatment that contains VFC and/or HCV and/or mercury, nor does it decontaminate equipment that contains PCBs.
This review is requested to incorporate the following changes into the environmental authorization as a non-substantial modification:

- It incorporates the shredding and separation of fractions of waste from alkaline batteries, waste from Ni-Cd, Ni/Mh and Lithium-Ion accumulators, (operation R1203).
- It incorporates the disassembly (casing, wiring…) of batteries and accumulators and preparation for the reuse of the disassembly modules through evaluation and testing, (operations R1203, R0404).
- The expansion/decrease of the annual management and storage capacities of different authorized management lines (catalysts, dangerous packaging, waste to be transferred…).
- The redistribution of storage areas for waste to be managed, process/work areas and storage areas for produced waste.
